The HIRWAUN HERD of pedigree Simmental cattle is run on a 28 acre small holding on the west coast of Wales.

The herd was established in 1996 with the purchase of Broadreed Violet. We now have 6 breeding cows and followers with some calving in the autumn and the rest in spring.

We have over the years competed in shows and society sales and gained many prizes. We have had champion bull at Ludlow sale in 2002, and in 2007 at the Royal Welsh, and currently are judged best small herd in Wales.
