The Gilweis Herd of pedigree Simmentals was established in 1994 with the purchase of an in-calf heifer from the Pembroke herd, followed by a heifer from the Ludchurch herd the only females purchased to date.

Show successes began at the Royal Welsh Show in 2005 with Gilweis Pat winning the class at our first attempt.Further show achievements were gained by Gilweis Manon, Gilweis Verity and Chesterman Titan.
