The Llwynmelyn Herd was founded in 2003 by the initial purchase form the Forsdale Herd. Further purchases were made from this herd as well as the Wroxall, Crackley, Celtic and Ben-nant Herd. AI bulls are carefully selected for use on the pedigree Simmentals cattle.

Commercial cows, mainly Simmental cross, are put back in calf using the herd's pedigree Simmental bull. Their calves are the sold as stores.
Our aim is to sell top quality home bred bulls and heifers with some heifers being kept as replacements.
